Former Welsh football player Joey Jones is dead. Like FC Liverpool, for which Jones played exactly 100 games, the defender died at the age of 70.
The AFC Wrexham, for which Jones ran in three different periods, also expressed his grief. As “Mr. Wrexham”, Jones went down in history and, among other things, acted as a trainer and interim manager at the Welsh club.
