For the first time, 196 nations are listed in the ranking.
The German footballers remain in third place in the FIFA world rankings. This emerges from the ranking published on Thursday by the World Association. The team of coach Christian Wück had already held the position on the ranking in December. A total of 196 teams were classified and thus more than ever before, for the first time there is Dschibuti (place 195).
At the top, the United States unchanged despite the defeat in the final of the Shebelieves Cup at the end of February against Japan (1: 2), which is facing fifth place through success. In front of it, as before, the Spaniards (second place) and England (fourth place) are next to the third.
According to FIFA, the next ranking will be released on June 12th.
