The first operation with ski jumper Luisa Görlich (Lauscha) after her new cruciate ligament rupture was successful. This was announced by the German Ski Association (DSV) 13 days after Görlich’s fall at the World Cup in Trondheim.
In the intervention on Görlich’s right knee in Munich, which was carried out last week, the drilling channels for the plastic to be used later were filled in and the meniscus, which was also damaged.

The relevant cruciate ligament operation should take place in around three months. According to DSV, the team world champion wants to start “moderate development training” in three weeks.
Horror crash in Trondheim
At the end of February, Görlich in Trondheim had a hard time fell by the normal hill in qualifying for the World Cup. After her early return, investigations confirmed the suspicion of a new cruciate ligament tear at the Thuringian.
