Flick left despite Osasuna
“It’s not in my hand,” said FC Barcelona coach.
Coach Hansi Flick from Spanish league leader FC Barcelona has calmly responded to Osasuna’s appeal against the evaluation of the lost catch -up game. “We got three points, I concentrate on that. And I concentrate on the next game against Girona,” said the former national coach before the meeting of the 29th match day on Sunday (4:15 p.m.).
Barcelona won Osasuna on Thursday (3-0) and thus expanded the lead at the top of the table to defending champion Real Madrid to three points. However, Osasuna appealed because one doubts the game authorization of Inigo Martinez.
Martinez had previously canceled his trip to the Spanish national team due to a knee injury. Osasuna justified the objection by the fact that according to FIFA rules a player should not play games for his club in the five calendar days after the end of the handover period. “It’s not in my hand,” said Flick on Saturday.
The game was originally scheduled for March 8. After the death of the Barca Klubarzt Carles MiƱarro Garcia, it was canceled and moved to March 27th.
