“The level was fantastic, but we have the potential for more,” said the 60-year-old after the heated 2-0 (0-0) victory at Local rival Espanyol, who made the third national title this season after the Supercopa and the Cup.
Flick was happy afterwards “for the players, for the club and for the fans”. And he praised the cohesion. “We are like a family,” said the former national coach and triplicate winner with Bayern Munich. The atmosphere is unique, everyone takes care of everyone: “I have never experienced that.”
Flick reveals: “I suffered”
Flick is satisfied with the yield in the first season of his term. “With Barça you have to win titles – and three are great,” he said, and still thought of the bitterly in the semi -finals of the Champions League against Inter Milan.
“I suffered in Milan after the semi -finals, but with three titles I think that both the club as well as the players and I should be happy,” said Flick.
