German Darts Championship: Pietreczko confidently in round two

Ricardo Pietreczko won his first-round match at the German Darts Championship against Radek Szaganski. He defeated the Polish player 6-3.

Pikachu played an average of 92.4 points, combined with a double percentage of 46.2%. In the second round, the German will face defending champion Peter Wright during the Saturday afternoon session.

Meanwhile, Dirk van Duijvenbode managed to send the “Hall 39” in Hildesheim into ecstasy. In the fourth leg, “Aubergenius” surprisingly threw a 9-darter against Karel Sedlacek. The Dutch player won the duel 6-4.

The 174th ranked player in the world, Kevin Troppmann, delivered a good performance against darts legend Raymond van Barneveld. In the match against the 34th ranked player in the Order of Merit, he played an average of 85.7 points and a double percentage of 35.29%. Ultimately, however, the German had to admit defeat 6-3.

The Friday afternoon session was not very successful for the two German darts professionals. Martin Kramer was eliminated 2-6 against Wessel Nijman and Felix Springer suffered a clear defeat against Krzysztof Ratajski (1-6).

Martin Schindler, as a seeded player, will be in action from Saturday evening. He will then face the 45th ranked player in the Order of Merit, William O’Connor, in the second round.
