Springer has to postpone vacation
The match was very balanced until 2:2, before the “Meenzer Bub” pulled away and secured the victory with four leg wins in a row.
“I had nothing to lose, I gave my best,” Springer said happily in the interview on the darts stage.
However, the 25-year-old now has a problem. The planned vacation to Crete with his girlfriend is postponed by another day because Springer is also in action on the final day tomorrow.
When asked about it, the German pointed to the audience, where his head-shaking girlfriend could be seen. “I think you just have to look at her. She said: ‘Either you win the whole thing, or I’m not so happy’,” Springer revealed.
