The German speed skiers ended the single-distance World Cup in Hamar/Norway with two other top 10 places. The Berliner Michelle Uhrig, who was the third on the podium at the World Cup in Calgary in January in January, became sixth on Sunday in the mass start of the Swiss Kaitlyn McGregor. The German ice skating and shorttrack community (DESG) was all about reducing the gap to the top nations. Only the team tracking of the women, who had finished fourth on Friday, ran close to the podium.
