Openda secures Juve’s victory
The Turin side wins the direct duel against Roma and puts pressure on the visitors in the table.

Lois Openda scores for Juventus Turin
Italy’s record football champions Juventus Turin have re-established their connection to the Champions League places in Serie A, also in terms of points.
The Bianconeri won the direct duel against AS Roma 2-1 (1-0) in the fight for the Champions League and thus moved back to within one point of fourth place, which qualifies for the competition.
The Portuguese Francisco Conceicao (44′), who initiated the German team’s exit in the Nations League semi-final in the summer with his equalizer, and former Leipzig striker Lois Openda (70′) deservedly put the hosts on course.
For Openda, it was his first goal in Serie A and only his second for Juve across all competitions. Roma only managed to get a consolation goal through Tommaso Baldanzi (75′).
While Juve celebrated their second consecutive league victory, Roma had won only one of their last four matches.
