James leaves the future open: “I have no answer”

Lakers-Schmachmach! Doncic's fighter heart is not enough

The 40-year-old still has a player option for the coming season.

The seasonal off is possibly an end forever: Basketball superstar Lebron James has left his future in the NBA after the first round defeat with the Los Angeles Lakers against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

“I don’t know. I have no answer,” said the 40-year-old when asked how things go with him.

“Now I have to sit down with my family that talk about my wife. And I have to make up with myself how long I want to continue playing,” said James: “Then we will see what happens. But to be honest, I can’t answer that yet.”

The most successful thrower of NBA history has a player option for another year with the Lakers, which would bring him $ 52.6 million.

James had also continued his career with the aim of playing with his son Bronny in the NBA.

This was achieved by the father-son team: the junior debut the Lakers this season, but did not get beyond an extras role.

James’ fabulous NBA career started in 2003. He became champions four times with three different teams, most recently in 2020 with the Lakers.

In the past season, James came to an average of 24.4 points per game – a 40 -year -old has never played at this level.
