The Austrian top club Red Bull Salzburg apparently does not benefit from the commitment of the new RB soccer leader Jürgen Klopp. “Our exchange, I have to say that, is really limited,” said Managing Director Stephan Reiter at the “Football Congress” in Salzburg.
Klopp has been in the stadium twice so far, reported Reiter. “We exchange a bit. If we commit players, we will fall back on his expertise,” he said: “But otherwise there are not so many points of contact. Certainly less than one or the other would imagine.”
Klopp should help with transfers
Klopp has been responsible for all football activities in the RB cosmos since the beginning of the year. In addition to Salzburg, this also includes the German Bundesliga club RB Leipzig, the New York Red Bulls and the Bragantino clubs from Brazil and Omiya Ardija from Japan. Salzburg had become “only” second after ten national championship titles in the previous year. Red Bull is currently only fourth in the championship round.
