Atlético attacker Alexander Sörloth wrote history. The Norwegian scored three goals up to the 11th minute and thus the fastest hat trick in Spain’s highest division since 1941 when winning the Kanters against Real Sociedad (4: 0).
Carles Bestit (1929) and Mundo (1941) had previously held the record – both had achieved their hat trick until the 15th minute.
With his hat trick (7/10/11.) Sörloth quickly caused clear conditions. In half one he added his fourth goal (30th).
