Littler and Humphries fly out – Bunting triumphs

Phil Taylor sees urgent need for action in the format of Premier League Darts. He is not alone with his opinion.

The two English superstars have already bid farewell in the quarter-finals of the Nordic Darts Masters.

Stephen Bunting has won the Nordic Darts Masters. “The Bullet” prevailed in the final with 8:4 against Rob Cross.

Previously, superstar Luke Littler had already departed in the quarter-finals. The world champion had to admit defeat to Nathan Aspinall at the World Series event with 3:6.

Littler and Humphries out early

The two Englishmen initially delivered a close match, before Aspinall was able to pull away at 3:3. Defending champion Gerwyn Price meanwhile threw out Luke Humphries also with 6:3.

“The Asp” had a marginally worse 3-dart average against Littler (99.58 to 100.33), but shone especially with the significantly stronger checkout rate. Here, the 33-year-old had the edge with 60 percent, Littler came to just under 43 percent.

For Aspinall, the semi-final against Bunting was the end (5:7), Price lost to Cross (4:7).
