The Egyptian attacker was cheering into the curve after his goal to the 4-1 lead against Tottenham Hotspur, and quickly grabbed a fan’s cell phone to press the trigger several times.

Then he handed over the smartphone back to his owner, celebrated heartily with his teammates.

“A selfie that is around the island, if not around the world,” said commentator Florian Schmidt-Sommerfeld at Sky .

Expert Thomas Hitzlsperger said: “He is the selfie king.”

Liverpool finally won 5-1 against the Spurs, making it clear the 20th championship in club history – and equated with record winner Manchester United.

It was Salah’s 28th goal of the season in the Premier League – and his 245th for the Reds in all competitions.

The 32-year-old had recently extended his contract in Liverpool by two years to 2027.
