Thomas Müller talks about his time in the MLS and what he plans for next year.
Thomas Müller wants to continue his Canadian adventure next year. “Yes – full attack,” the 2014 World Champion replied in kicker when asked if he would definitely play a second season for the Vancouver White Caps in Major League Soccer (MLS) in North America.
On Sunday (3:30 am CET), the now 36-year-old Müller will play in the quarter-finals of the play-offs against Los Angeles FC, featuring former Bundesliga and Premier League star Heung-Min Son.

Thomas Müller has been playing in Vancouver since this season
“The stadium will be sold out with 55,000 spectators against Los Angeles,” said Müller: “There haven’t been any tickets for a few days, you have to manage that first in ice hockey country Canada.”
What the title would mean to Müller
Although Müller is already a German record holder with 35 titles, the championship in North America would mean a lot to the icon of record champions Bayern Munich. “In the current context, a very large one, it is my here and now,” Müller replied when asked about the importance of a possible title win: “Above all, I have moved to a new league and a new country and would then have experienced an extraordinary team performance within a short time.”
Müller’s interim balance with eight goals and three assists in nine games is positive. “Consequently, I can say that I am very satisfied here and enjoy it very much,” said the offensive star, who can no longer walk through the city unrecognized in Vancouver: “But it is of course much more relaxed than in Munich or the rest of Germany.”
