Williams was at an exhibition event in Zurich with his compatriot Ricky Evans and the Swiss Stefan Bellmont. On TikTok, the 2024 World Championship semi-finalist revealed in a video that he had tried curling for the first time.

“Curling is currently being played at the Winter Olympics. As a tall person – a person who is 1.93 meters tall – you shouldn’t do that,” Williams said: “Don’t curl. Don’t do curling. Don’t get stones. Don’t even think about it, because it’s the most ridiculous sport ever.”
Curling is “the most painful sport I’ve ever played in my life, and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.”
What “Shaggy” complained about: “My legs hurt, my neck hurts, my penis hurts – probably because I got caught in the zipper.” A curious confession. “But that’s another story. Don’t curl,” Williams added.
From Tuesday, Williams can fully concentrate on darts again. Tournaments three and four of the Players Championship are scheduled in Wigan.
