Biathlete Franziska Preuß has also missed a title at the German Championships in her second race since the overall World Cup victory.
The 31-year-old landed in the sprint over 7.5 kilometers with two shooting errors only in sixth place. As on Friday in singles, the flawless Janina Hettich-Walz won after her comeback after a baby break. Selina Grotian and Charlotte Gallbronner completed the podium on Saturday.
