Schröder delivers his best performance in the Pistons jersey, but cannot prevent the defeat. Hartenstein convinces again.
Basketball world champion Dennis Schröder has delivered its best performance in the NBA to the Detroit Piston’s jersey – but in the twelfth game since his change, however, have to accept the second defeat. At the Los Angeles Clipper for the outstanding superstar James Harden, Detroit lost 115: 123. Meanwhile, Isaiah Hartenstein convinced at the next victory of top team Oklahoma City Thunder.
Schröder came from the bank to 28 minutes and scored 21 points since his change in early February, scored five of his nine attempts from the triple line. The Braunschweiger was the second best scorer of his team after Cade Cunningham (37 points), and he also contributed six rebounds and seven assists.
Harden puts 50 points on
At the Clipperers, the former MVP Harden towered over with 50 points. Despite the defeat, Schröder and the Pistons remain on play-off course as the sixth of the Eastern Conference, LA ranked eighth in the west.
Hartenstein and Oklahoma meanwhile celebrated the fifth victory in a row at 120: 103 against the Memphis Grizzlies and strengthened their undisputed supremacy in the Western Conference. The German Center showed the next convincing performance – with ten points and strong 15 rebounds, he achieved a double double in 28 minutes.
Hartenstein’s teammate Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was again unstoppable. Two days after his 51-point performance in the victory over the Houston Rockets, the Canadian won 41 points and eight assists against Memphis.
