Literally, Guardiola said – the notes can be read on the Skyblues website – the following sentence: “The thing is not to play in the middle because it is not clever enough, with the attitude.”

Guardiola praises Nunes too

In fact, Guardiola Nunes has always offered the back of the four to the back of the past three games. After the departure of Kyle Walker, a vacancy was created after the departure of Kyle Walker.

Guardiola praised the “physicality” with which Nunes filled out his new role: “He learns a lot. The full -backs make the mistake that they sleep on the long post when flanks”. In these situations, however, Nunes had convinced in the Manchester derby in a goalless draw.

After moving in the summer of 2023, Nunes had mostly been used in the City midfield. He had previously played 101 games for Sporting in the same position.
