Dragutin Horvat triumphs on Sunday at PDC Europe Next Gen in Kalkar. There is a surprise winner on Saturday.
Dragutin Horvat cannot be stopped: at the fourth event of the PDC Europe Next Gen Series, the two-time World Cup participant secured the day’s victory in Kalkar undefeated and climbed to the top of the ranking.
In the final, Horvat prevailed 6-2 in the legs against Paul Krohne. With Andree Welge and Luca Jäger, two more German professionals played to the semi -finals.

Horvat climbs in first place
It was Horvat’s first seasonal title at PDC Europe Next Gen. “Hercules” dominated the day over long stretches and played out his entire experience. With a 15-darter he finally won the tournament victory.
There was 1,500 euros in prize money for victory. Horvat leads the leaderboard with 2,165 euros recorded prize money, Michael Klönhammer (1,838 euros) and Kevin Troppmann (1,760 euros) follow in places in two and three.
The Austrian starters didn’t get a good day, only Patrick Tingler was able to reach the quarter -finals.
Kuhn wins sensationally
The day before, sensationally triumphed Kevin Kuhn. The Hesse surprisingly secured the tournament victory from 250 participants.
In the final, Kuhn was victorious against Oliver Müller with 6: 4 in the Legs. There was also a novelty in the history of the tournament: on Saturday it was played in master-out mode for the first time.
For the Austrians, things went even worse on Saturday – not a single player made it into the top 32.
The PDC Europe Next gen continues on June 20 with three tournaments in Rust, Austria.
