Goal scorer Mohamed Salah from the English soccer champion FC Liverpool was the first professional to be the “Player of the Year” by the Pfa gaming union for the third time. The Egyptian had previously received the 2017/18 and 2021/22 award. Salah was honored in a ceremony in Manchester.
The 33-year-old led the Reds last season with 29 goals and 18 templates for the 20th championship in England’s top division. In the past few months, Salah had also been awarded the player of the year by the Football Writers’ Association and the Premier League.
