Real: minute’s silence for the Pope

The stars of Real Madrid express their condolences after the death of Pope Francis.

The stars of Real Madrid stood on the training ground for the middle circle with reduced minds: after the death of Pope Francis, there was a minute’s silence before the unity of the “royal” on Easter Monday.

“Real Madrid would like to send the entire Catholic community his condolences after the loss of a historical personality,” wrote Real in the social network X. According to the Vatican, the Pope died on Monday morning at the age of 88.

During his pontificate, “that was shaped by the strength of his inheritance, Pope Francis testified a very great spirit of solidarity and support for the most disadvantaged and vulnerable people,” it said on the side of Real: “May he rest in peace.”

FC Barcelona and Atletico Madrid also expressed their condolences to the death of the Argentine Pope on social media. Francis was considered a fan of the Argentine club San Lorenzo from the capital Buenos Aires.
