Darts Hype: “Dortmund is a prime example”

“Darts excites people all over the world – and Dortmund is a prime example of that,” said Werner von Moltke, Managing Director of PDC Europe: “33,000 tickets sold even before the event starts impressively show how much the sport has arrived in Germany.

Von Moltke added: “This development makes us very happy. This makes the European Championship the second largest continuous darts event after the World Championship.”

Some tickets are still available through the official PDC website.

Three German professionals are also competing: Ricardo Pietreczko, Niko Springer, and Martin Schindler.
