Franck Ribéry has future plans in his adopted home of Italy.

Former Bavaria star Franck Ribéry strives for a career as a coach. “I want to become a coach to feel the atmosphere of the field again. I want to become coach in the training center of the Italian national team in Coverciano at Florence because I am now at home there,” said the 41-year-old in an interview with the Italian Gazzetta Dello Sport .

He has already received the UEFA A and B diploma and will start a course for the UEFA-Pro diploma from September. Ribéry is ready to start modestly as a trainer. “Even if you were a big footballer, you have to start from an early age, even with a youth team,” emphasized the Frenchman.
