Schindler too weak in scoring
Schindler made up for the lack of scoring with a strong double rate of 50 percent, but Price was even better here (55.6%).
After a strong start – Schindler led 3:1 and 4:3 – Price provided an absolute highlight and the turning point of the match with a 161 high finish in twelve darts. After several 12 and 13-darters, the “Iceman” moved to 8:6 in the meantime. Until 5:5 everything was still completely open.
Schindler could no longer counter the strong scoring of his opponent and ultimately had to admit defeat to Price again. The 29-year-old had already lost 6:10 at the Grand Slam of Darts around two weeks ago.
