Hannawald: First fair, then bird game

At the Nordic World Cup, however, the athletes were allowed to report two further suits. And according to Hannawald, it is no longer possible with right things: “Someone with six diopters sees that there are suits that should not be approved – if you adhere to the rules from the beginning of the season.”
Two examples are a special thorn in the side of the 50-year-old: on the one hand, the suit of Norwegian Anna Odine Stroem, who had brought gold with the mixed relay. “Give me this suit and even I jump again. I know that nothing can happen to me, it catches me up. “

And the Norwegian Marius Lindvik, winner of the normal hill, is also critically eyed: “Lindvik often did not even reach the second round before the World Cup, when the regulations were strict. And now he is world champion, with the same technique. It’s all like in a bad film. “
Hannawald said to the control guardians: One should not “allow loopholes during the season. Every jumper who has adapted his jump to the closer suit is now just punished. “

Hannawald hopes for the International Ski Association FIS. This could find a clear line: “Otherwise we will have another full chaos at the end of the Olympic Games next winter.”
