Ski jumper Philipp Raimund showed strong performances at the Summer Grand Prix in Austrian Hinzenbach. After his victory on Saturday, the Oberstdorf native finished fourth on Sunday behind local heroes Jan Hörl and Daniel Tschofenig as well as Ryoyu Kobayashi from Japan.
“I’m overall quite satisfied with both days,” said Raimund, “the jumps were at a pretty good level.” He said he hit the last one on Sunday “really well,” but played it too safely on the landing: “Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough for the podium anymore.”
Before the last of six total stations in Klingenthal (October 25/26), Raimund leads the overall standings with 410 points.
