The exclusion applies in England from June 1st, and in Scotland, trans women will soon no longer be active in women’s football.
In England, trans women will no longer be allowed to take part in the regular game operations of the footballers. The National Association FA announced on Thursday.
The regulation should come into force on June 1st.
The FA said that it had updated its guidelines for the Equal Opportunities Act in Great Britain after a judgment of the Supreme Court.
The Scottish Football Association announced that at the start of the 2025/26 season it would be issued a similar ban.
