Wagner’s team wins in Milwaukee, but Schröder collects a defeat at the Warriors.

Basketball world champion Franz Wagner celebrated an important victory in the race for the NBA play-offs with Orlando Magic. Against Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks, the Florida team won 111: 109, Wagner was one of the strongest throwers in his team with 18 points. The Greek Antetokounmpo collected 37 points and eleven rebounds – but the successful series tore after four wins.

Dennis Schröder, on the other hand, received a defeat against one of his ex-teams. With the Detroit Pistons, the captain of the German national team was lost 110: 115 at the Golden State Warriors. Detroit was not sufficient for his eleven points – also because top star Stephen Curry triumphed with the hosts.

Curry scored 32 points, and the 26th player in the history of the NBA cracked the 25,000-point mark. After his 1011st game in the North American professional league, Curry is now at 25,017 points.

After the second defeat, Detroit is sixth in the east, Wagner’s Orlando ranked eighth. The Warriors are sixth in the west.
