Stephen Bunting wants to win his second major trophy at the PDC! The darts star has made a title announcement before his quarter-final match at the World Matchplay.
“I’m thinking about winning, not the final,” the 38-year-old told Sky Sports. He added: “I know how good I can be and know I have three good games in me.”

He then said confidently: “My family is here and I’m not here on vacation. I’m here to win this title.”
Bunting explained that he has had a very good season so far and has already won many titles. “I would be kidding myself if I didn’t believe I could come here to win,” said the Englishman.

“The Bullet” pointed out: “I’m no longer a village idiot who comes here and has fun. I know I have the form for it.”
The 38-year-old will face Jonny Clayton on Thursday evening (from approx. 10:45 p.m. in the live ticker). The Welshman threw the German Martin Schindler out in the first round.
