In the Windchaos of Vikersund, Nika Prevc flies everyone away again. A DSV athlete also ends up on the podium.
Nika Prevc celebrated her 20th victory in the SkiSprung World Cup on her 20th birthday and continued her dream winter in Vikersund’s Windchaos. After a test of patience, the Slovenian world champion prevailed in the competition that was only in one round with a flight to 213.5 m (201.1 points) clearly ahead of her compatriot EMA Klinec (169.8 points). Selina Friday jumped exactly 200.0 m and the third (157.0) jumped onto the podium.

On Saturday it didn’t go as far as the record show in official training on Friday. There Prevc had increased the world record by five and a half meters to 236.0 m. Friday was the first German woman to flew over the 200 m mark and improved the national record of Katharina Schmid (198.5) to 202.0 m.
