A few weeks before the end of the career, Karsten Tadda set the record of Alex King with his 638th assignment in the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL). The former international of the Bamberg Baskets reached the brand on Saturday evening at the meeting with the MHP giant Ludwigsburg. Tadda in Ulm is expected to become the sole number one next Thursday.
“I am very proud of my 638 games in 20 BBL years, but records are there to be broken and if so, I am happy if I am at least an old friend who catches up with me,” said King before the game. The 40-year-old left the floor in 2022.
