Marcos Llorente is causing a stir off the field. The Spaniard suspects a conspiracy surrounding condensation trails in the sky.
In recent days, Spain’s national player Marcos Llorente has attracted attention less through his sporting performances (15 minutes in the World Cup qualifier against Georgia) and more because of his statements in interviews.
The 30-year-old doubts that the white streaks in the sky, which form behind airplanes for example, are merely condensation trails.
“I say this with great naturalness. When I look at the sky, I see something I’ve never seen before. That doesn’t seem normal to me,” said the Atlético Madrid professional in an interview with El Desmarque .
Does Llorente believe in the chemtrails conspiracy?
Llorente elaborated: “That’s what I want to express. Many people thank me for it. Others, however, say it’s water vapor. But I didn’t see this before. More and more people are saying this.”
The Spaniard hinted at believing the conspiracy theory about so-called chemtrails. Followers of this theory believe the condensation trails contain chemicals and other additives that are intentionally spread.
However, in the radio program Partidazo de COPE he clarified: “I’m not saying they’re intentionally spraying some crap on us.” But: “I’m saying I didn’t see these trails lingering in the sky for hours before. I’d like to know what that is. They say something is being sprayed to change the climate.”
Llorente: Special glasses for light filtration
Llorente also goes about his daily life in a special way. During the day he wears glasses with yellow lenses, and when it gets dark he wears ones with red lenses. This is how he wants to filter artificial light and help his health.
For this purpose, he only uses infrared light in his home after dark. This is also why he packed an infrared lamp in his luggage when traveling to the national team.
