Ricardo Pietreczko offered Luke Littler a great fight
“Pikachu” initially gave hope by pulling ahead to 3:1, but then Littler showed his whole class and annoyed the German with some unconventional checkouts. In the 13th leg, Littler checked 121 points via Bullseye, Triple-7, and Bullseye to make it 8:5 in between.
Littler’s strong average of 102.7 ultimately left Pietreczko (90.4) with no chance.
“Pikachu” had defeated Irishman William O’Connor in the first round before throwing out the Scottish darts icon Gary Anderson.
