Liverpool coach Arne Slot has once again left Mohamed Salah out of the starting lineup for the away game against Leeds United. Florian Wirtz, however, is in the starting eleven.

Liverpool could only win one of their last four Premier League games. Arne Slot’s team is currently only twelfth in the table and is under a lot of pressure.
Salah had never been on the bench for more than one game in a row, provided he was in the squad. The Egyptian has been playing for the Reds since the summer of 2017 and has since played 314 games in England’s top league.
“It’s never an easy decision because we all know what a great player he is,” Slot said before kick-off regarding Salah’s place on the bench. “But it’s also up to me to choose the team that I think we need today. That’s why I made this decision.”
