Norway’s cross-country skiing star Johannes Hösflot Kläbo continued his big gold show at the Nordic Ski World Cup in Trondheim and reached two best stamps of his compatriot Petter Northug with his fourth triumph. In the team sprint, the 28-year-old won his 13th world champion title alongside Erik Valnes and equated with the Northug record champion.

So far, Northug has been the only cross -country skier who had brought gold four times at a single World Cup. On Thursday, Kläbo is likely to secure the sole record, in the season of 4×7.5 kilometers are the Norwegian Favorite. In the final on Wednesday, Kläbo, who had won his third World Cup title in the team sprint two years ago in Planica with Pal Golberg, and Valnes, who won in Oberstdorf on his side of Kläbo in 2021, prevailed in front of Finland and Sweden.
