BBL: Vechta wins in Göttingen

Martin Schiller could be satisfied

Basketball Bundesliga club Rasta Vechta can also cheer in the third BBL game one after the other. In the catch -up meeting of the 13th matchday against BG Göttingen, the team of Martin Schiller showed a sovereign performance and won 86:66 (60:31). Due to the victory, Vechta equalized with the Löwen Braunschweig in third place – both clubs now have 14 wins after 22 league games this season.

Göttingen, on the other hand, stays the last and had to accept the 20th defeat in the 21st game in his own hall. The game’s best throwers were BG-Point-Guard Tra Holder and Vechtas Small Forward Brandon Randolph with 17 points each.

In Vechta, Göttingen had been able to keep up much better in the actual second leg on March 1st, even if the BG had to give up 79:87. The relegation is becoming increasingly difficult.

Meanwhile, Rasta is still in the race for the play-offs. Randolph and Co. Ratiopharm received Ulm (8:00 p.m./Dyn) on Friday and could reduce the distance to the second -placed Swabians.
