Best ski pilot in history: Prevc Enthront Kraft

World recordler: Domen Prevc

The world record changes after eight years. The German record has lasted since 2017.

The Slovenian Domen Prevc has improved the world record in ski flying in Planica. At 254.5 m, the 25-year-old stayed one meter on Sunday on the previous brand of Austrian Stefan Kraft from March 2017 in Vikersund. The Russian Dimitri Wassiljew was already flying 254.0 m in 2015, but has fallen.

Prevc’s brother Peter also also owned the world record, in 2015 the first jumper to crack the 250 meters. His sister Nika has held the world record among women since March 14, at 236.0 m. The German record of Markus Eisenbichler, which has now receded, is 248.0 m.
