NBA superstar experiences horror game

Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns are humiliated by the Houston Rockets. The NBA superstar is also injured by the ankle and threatens to fall out.

A shock moment for the Phoenix Suns: NBA superstar Kevin Durant had to get off the field on Sunday evening while playing against the Houston Rockets with an ankle injury. The incident occurred 6:57 minutes before the end of the third quarter when Durant went down after a collision with Jabari Smith Jr.

Smith was punished for a foul under the sun’s basket, while Durant fell to the ground after the ball was lost. The 2.08 meter forward could get up again, but could not appear on his left leg. It looked like he had kicked Smith’s foot, which caused him visible pain.

Durant misses away trip

After the game, Suns coach Mike Budenholzer explained that Durant would undergo an MRI on Monday and would initially not travel to the upcoming three games with the team, starting with the game against Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday.

Hot duel with Dillon Brooks

A heated duel between Durant and Rockets-Forward Dillon Brooks occurred earlier in the game. Brooks was put off the pitch after a short wrangling with Durant.

The incident occurred 4:48 minutes before the end of the second quarter when Houston led 55:38. After the scramble, Brooks received two technical fouls and became ejected, while Durant and Nick Richards each got a technical foul from the Suns. However, free throws were not awarded.

Rockets dominate the second half

The Rockets took advantage of the weakness of the Suns in the second half. Jalen Green scored 33 points, while Amen Thompson shone with 12 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists. Houston exceeded the hosts in the third quarter with 34:24 and ultimately secured a clear 148:10 win.

The team around world champion Franz Wagner gives the Sacramento Kings no chance.

Durant stood on the field for a total of 23 minutes, scored 11 points and won eight rebounds. At the beginning of the season he had worked in eighth place on the NBA career points list.
