World champion Niels Giffey is preserved for FC Bayern beyond the current season. The former basketball national player extended his expiring contract with the German champion by two years to 2027, the Munich announced on Tuesday.

Giffey switched from Spanish first division team Ucam Murcia to the Euroleague participant in November 2022.
