Former international Niels Giffey remains loyal to FC Bayern – is something big?
World champion Niels Giffey is preserved for FC Bayern beyond the current season. The former basketball national player extended his expiring contract with the German champion by two years to 2027, the Munich announced on Tuesday.
Giffey switched from Spanish first division team Ucam Murcia to the Euroleague participant in November 2022.
“With its quality and experience, Niels is a firm and important component of our team,” said sports director Dragan Tarlac. Trainer Gordon Herbert has said several times that Giffey was “a big player and an even bigger teamate”. “Better can hardly be rewritten Niels and its value for our group.”
