Perhaps the most bizarre leg of darts history

Bizarre scenes occur at the Darts tournament of the European Tour in Austria. Two professionals play one of the worst legs in PDC history.

In the winner’s interview, Joe Cullen spoke on the stage of the Styria Hall in Graz from “Pub -Darts” – and got it to the point what had happened a few minutes earlier. The audience at the Austrian Darts Open was surprised when it was persecuted, which had occurred in the sixth leg of the match between the English and Thibault Tricole.

It will be one of the most bizarre sections in PDC history. After a good seven minutes – during this time Luke Littler wins a whole match every now and then – Cullen scored the double -1 for 5: 1 lead. He needed an incredible 40 (!) Darts.

A good leg for some amateur players, but an absolute catastrophe for a professional. It was the worst leg of the history of the European Tour.

Bizarre scenes at darts event

After five recordings, everything was still normal. “The Rockstar” Cullen was a little worse after 15 arrows with 32 points. Tricole scorten, only after 17 would be a one-dart finish. Afterwards, however, the mischief took its course.

Both players missed in rows. It came as it had to come: Both Cullen and the Frenchman landed in the “Madhouse” on the double 1. While Tricole only missed 19 double throws in this leg, the Englishman sank the 22nd attempt in the right field of the outer ring.

The Austrian audience clapped applause and cheered at every lift. The two protagonists alternately reacted with an ironic laugh and desperate look and gestures – just completely bizarre scenes.

Cullen reacts with humor

Cullen won the game 6-2, showed a decent performance except for this screwed -up leg and moved into the round of 16 at the fifth event of the European Tour. In the end, 77.13 points in the Average and 17.6 percent dual quota. Tricole came to 70.23 points and 7.1 percent.

Cullen then reacted with humor. “Value as much as a 9-darter-I stay with that,” said 35-year-old at X. His emojis aptly describe the emotions of the two players.
