Italy: Naples takes over the lead

Thanks to Scott Mctominay, the SSC Naples took over the lead in the Italian football league. The team of coach Antonio Conte prevailed on Sunday evening after a double pack by the Scottish international (7th, 41st) with 2: 0 (2-0) against FC Turin. Naples Bayern-Werzwinger Inter Milan displaced from first place.

The champion had previously lost 0: 1 (0: 1) against AS Rome and thus also failed the dress rehearsal for the semi-final first leg in the Champions League on Wednesday (9 p.m./DAZN) at FC Barcelona. For the Romans, Matias Soule (18th) scored the goal of the day, Rio world champion Mats Hummels was sitting on the bench throughout the season.

Naples is now three points ahead of Inter. If both teams are tied at the end of the season, the title is determined by a decision -making game. The Italian Association FIGC reactivated this rule, which lasted in 1964 in 1964.
