The World Cup of the ski racers in Garmisch-Partenkirchen is to take place after the end of the season in the coming winter immediately after the Olympic Games. As the organization committee of the race announced on Thursday, the departure (February 28th) and the Super-G (March 1) of the men on the Kandahar will be the first speed races after the highlight of the season in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo.
In the past World Cup season, the men’s downhill race in Garmisch had been canceled due to fog. In the coming winter, the season is to begin with two giant slalom races in Sölden (25th and 26th October). The women’s competitions in Cortina are held at the Olympics (February 6th to 22nd, 2026), the men are fighting for the medals on the Stelvio slope in Bormio.
