For health reasons, Fallon Sherrock will be taking a break from the sport.
In an interview with Online Darts, Fallon Sherrock announced that she must take a break from darts for the time being. She did not elaborate on the exact reason behind her withdrawal. However, the Englishwoman has been struggling with kidney disease since 2014, which severely restricts her.
“All I want is to practice at home for a few hours a day, but I can’t,” she said in the interview. The “Queen of the Palace” has recently had to cancel many tournaments and events because she was not fit enough.
Deciding on the break was not easy for her, as darts is actually her top priority. But her health problems are now forcing her to do so.

Clear Goals for the Return
She hopes that she will be “fit again in a year or two” in order to show her full potential again. Until then, she is forced to withdraw from the sport and seek treatment.
In December 2019, she was the first and so far only woman to win a match against a male competitor at a PDC World Championship. Her “main goal is the World Championship” for her return as well.
