The Nordic Darts Masters 2025 takes place without German participation. As in previous years, Martin Schindler & Co. does not receive a right to start.

When the fifth edition of the Nordic Darts Masters in Copenhagen begins on Friday, the German darts elite is condemned to watch.

As with the previous four editions, no German participant is entitled to start. Since it is an invitation tournament, the participating players are determined by the PDC.

Nordic Darts Masters: MVG says

A total of 16 players take part in the tournament. These include the top 4 of the PDC Order of Merit, four wildcard players and eight qualifiers from northern Europe.

This means that Luke Humphries, Luke Littler, Stephen Bunting and Jonny Clayton were able to qualify via the world rankings. Michael van Gerwen would have been entitled to the number three of the Order of Merit, but is currently taking a break – that’s why Clayton is moving in.

The four wildcards were distributed to Rob Cross, Gerwyn Price, Nathan Aspinall and Chris Dobey. The German professionals around Martin Schindler (number 18 of the Order of Merit) were not taken into account.

The eight other spots were awarded exclusively to players from Baltic and Nordic countries. Madars Razma, Benjamin Reus, Jeffrey de Graaf, Cor Dekker, Oskar Lukasiak, Viktor Tingström, Darius Labanauskas and Andreas Harryson – who caused a sensation at the European Darts in Leverkusen – secured their start -up entitlement through these tournaments.

German players were not approved for the qualification.
