Master Bayern Munich’s basketball players took the third victory within a week. The team of former national coach Gordon Herbert won 87:78 (48:38) against the MLP Academics Heidelberg and strengthened his lead in the Bundesliga.
The Bavarians did not burn anything and continuously left Heidelberg. The best thrower was Heidelberg’s Damariae Horne with 21 points, Bavaria’s former NBA professional Carsen Edwards scored 19 points.
The former serial champion Alba Berlin, on the other hand, gave a clear half -time lead again.
The Berliner lost 90: 101 (86:86, 49:37) against the second ratiopharm Ulm. Alba thus remains a wobble candidate on the pre-play-off places and, after the last three wins in the BBL, must now cope with a damper again.
