Manchester United misses out on European competition after a horrendous season. United coach Rúben Amorim loses his temper – and tears into offensive player Alejandro Garnacho.
At Manchester United, nerves are frayed after a completely failed season. This has apparently also been felt by winger Alejandro Garnacho. According to the British newspaper Mirror, coach Rúben Amorim is said to have told the Argentinian that he should look for a new club – and not in the fine English manner.
According to the Daily Mail, Amorim is said to have called out Garnacho at a team meeting and made it clear to him in front of his teammates that he is no longer wanted. The Portuguese is said to have asked Garnacho to “pray” that he finds another club instead of showing up for training with the Red Devils again in July.

Garnacho frustration after Europa League final
The conflict between Amorim and Garnacho probably escalated above all after the lost Europa League final against Tottenham Hotspur. The 20-year-old complained about too little playing time after Amorim only substituted him on in the 71st minute.
“I played in every round to help the team get to the final, and today I only got 20 minutes. I don’t know. I’ll try to enjoy the summer and see what happens next. This season was shit: losing the final and not beating anyone in the league,” he let out his frustration.
Garnacho’s brother also accused Amorim of “throwing him under the bus.” United youngster Amorim already felt the hard hand in mid-December when he was left out of the Manchester derby due to poor training performances.
