Johannes Thingnes and Tarjei Bö have actually retired. But now they are celebrating a unique short comeback in biathlon.
The long-time dominators will be at the Legends Race in Dresden as part of the M4Energy City Biathlon Dresden 2025 on August 31st.
According to the organizers, Benedikt Doll will also compete in the special competition. The DSV star already retired in 2024 and is now also back from retirement for one day.
Alongside the legends, numerous active stars will also be there.
In 2025, ten women and ten men will again compete in the two mass start races.
Lou Jeanmonnot and Éric Perrot from France, Philipp Nawrath, Justus Strelow, Vanessa Voigt and Julia Tannheimer from Germany, are absolute top athletes at the start.
In addition, Quentin Fillon Maillet, Philipp Horn and last year’s winner Jakov Fak are registered. The women’s list includes Karoline Offigstad Knotten and Markéta Davidová.
