The situation at Olympique Marseille is escalating. During the home game against Strasbourg, fans expressed their displeasure in various ways.
Before the match, ultras mounted several banners in the stands but left an entire section empty in protest against the club management. “Tribune empty in protest. For a club in self-destruction. All your projects go up in flames during these wasted years,” read the placards.

The team was mercilessly booed by other supporters during warm-up. The ultras only took their seats 15 minutes after kick-off.
The situation continued during the game. “Captain of a ghost ship that never crossed the ocean,” read another banner, directed against club owner Frank McCourt. Pyrotechnics were set off.
OM fans angry after De Zerbi’s departure
