FIFA IS Opening A New Transfer Window for Its Prestigious Tournament. The World Association Officialy Announces this.
New transfer window for the Club World Cup: Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and all the others can sign fresh personnel for the FIFA’s prestigious tournament at short notice.
For this purpose, the world association is opening an “extraordinary transfer window” from June 1st to 10th so that the “clubs can sign new players for the tournament,” as stated in a statement on Wednesday.
The regulation applies to all associations whose clubs participate in the first-ever Club World Cup in the USA (June 14th to July 13th).
32 Teams Participating in Club World Cup
From the Bundesliga, in addition to FC Bayern, Borussia Dortmund is also participating – a total of 32 teams from Egypt, Argentina, Brazil, Germany, England, France, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Morocco, Mexico, New Zealand, Austria, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Spain, South Africa, Tunisia, the USA and the United Arab Emirates are participating.
The final squads for the tournament must be submitted by June 10th.
The presidium of the German Football League (DFL) had already created the prerequisites for the Bundesliga clubs regarding the new transfer window at the end of March.
The normal summer transfer window in Germany is open from July 1st to September 1st.
